BURLINGTON, MA – Lahey Health announced today the addition of James B. Conway, Kerry Healey, PhD, Timothy Liesching, MD, and Elizabeth Pattullo to its Board of Trustees, and the Lahey Clinic Foundation announced the addition of David S.B. Lang and Linda Russell McGoldrick to its Board of Trustees. As trustees, they will provide governance and leadership to Lahey Health and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and their respective senior leadership teams, furthering the organization’s mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective care.

Lahey Health System’s Board of Trustees is novel in the health care industry because it includes equal representation from each affiliated hospital. This shared governance model balances the needs of the health system with engaging all member organizations in a common vision of delivering safe, high-quality care at a reasonable cost to the communities the system serves. The board, which includes academic medical center representation, community hospital representation, and independent representation, provides the foundation for superb results through promotion of both community-specific and system-wide accountability.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome James Conway, Kerry Healey, Tim Liesching and Elizabeth Pattullo to our Board of Trustees,” said Howard Grant, JD, MD, President and CEO of Lahey Health. “The collective knowledge and insight these individuals bring in health care management, quality, governance, policy, philanthropy and behavioral health will greatly enhance our mission to make integrated health care more personal, accessible and affordable for everyone.”
